Inspired by a visit to Villa Gamberaia in Italy, Jane’s large graphite drawings and circular paintings appear like convex camera lenses pulling the viewer into a memory of the garden. Each one leads them to distinctive garden features that are designed to offer shade, sanctuary or dramatic vistas deep into the garden.

A changing installation of drawings will be on view at Hamilton MAS and new work will be shared during her residency throughout the summer.  The current installation of works can be viewed through the windows of Hamilton MAS. Keep an eye open for open days and artist talks in the coming weeks.
